2015-2016: Combating Ebola in West Africa

IMCRA collaborated with IMANI House to establish field clinics and provide training in response to the Ebola outbreak in Senegal and Ghana. Native language Twi-Fante modules were launched advising both clinicians and lay persons on basic preventative and care techniques.

Key Highlights:

  • Collaborations with IMANI House and onsite Reed Cross efforts in Africa

  • Onsite educational programs highlighting the global impact of the Ebola pandemic

  • Particular concern and attention to elderly persons who were at greatest risk
